Another Side

It's been months since I last wrote posts with sense on this little space. My summer classes are taking over my life! Yes, people, I am a Nerd. A geek. A blogger wannabe with no social life. Just kidding. Before you go judging me, you should know that it is kind of normal for students studying in UPLB (and any UP unit for that sake) to take summer classes. Some take it because they have doubts on graduating on time while some, well, believe it or not, there are people who want to finish their studies in just 3 years. In UP. Umm... Anyway, this is just another quick (probably nonsense) post since I have yet to study for my Physics 1 exam on Monday.

I don't think I've mentioned my desire (word!) for combat boots in my blog yet. So now I am declaring my undying love for combat boots. Last Sunday, I was able to score this perfect combat boots in SM department store in Southmall. And I say perfect because they have it in my size! I'm a 10 or 11 by the way. I am going to tell more about it on my next post but for now, here's my the other side that I am talking about.

Since I got my combat boots, I've been feeling "grunge-y" and "rebel-ish." (not my attitude! I'm talking about fashion, okay!) Everybody knows that I have my own online shop, so, having said that, here are some designs that I have in mind for theVtique presents Muscle Tees. I haven't uploaded the pictures on Facebook yet. I was so giddy to present them first and fresh here! Leave your smart thoughts below. :)

Happy 17th Birthday!

Snippets of how my 17th birthday was spent.
Few photos, more quality time.
Not really an excuse though. Haha!
This time I'm seventeen, this time I'll be taking more pictures.
Doesn't really make sense...
But now I'm seventeen!

p.s.
Don't you just love the portrait?
I do.

Vanilla Cupcake Bakery

Doesn't the entrance make you feel so girly and dainty? When I first saw it, I swear, I couldn't keep calm. Even as I'm writing this, I just can't. The place is just too cute! I'm talking about the newly opened cupcake place in Alabang Town Center, Vanilla Cupcake Bakery. Because they're located in Town, it was easy for me to visit it. My first visit was two weeks ago and sadly, it was already at night that's why I wasn't able to take decent pictures. Anyhoo, the place and pastries are just too perfect, I couldn't help but come back. What better way to celebrate the ending of this semester with one of my college best friends than laze in such a cute place?!
(These photos were taken this afternoon using my Globe Iphone 5. Go lang ng go!)
Don't you just wish your door knobs would look like this? So kawaii!
Believe me, I was waiting for them to leave but they wouldn't so I'll have to stick with this photo. Haha! Nonetheless, I am so inlove with this mural. This has got to be the best part of this place. It'just makes me feel very cozy!
Aah, you've met my friend Camila troll-ling around (as usual)
Vanilla Pink Cupcake (P 75)
Definitely a must try! This was the first cupcake I tried and I have to say that among all the other cupcakes that I have tasted in their bakery, this is the best. It has the best frosting but, I think they could improve the cupcake by adding more moist.
There are cafe's in Town that make me happy, but this place is just too perfect to bear. Just look at it! The ambiance is very home-y, sweet and dainty.  Doesn't remind you of a famous local brand clothing? That's because the people behind Vanilla Cupcake Bakery are the same as in Kamiseta. See their similarities? (Hint: the cushions!)
The sweet and chill vibe it sends makes it the best place to spend lazy afternoons reading a good book... or maybe studying with friends ;)
I apologize for taking this price list that cannot be read. I actually just took it for the sole of adding cute-ness in this post. The prices of the cupcakes range from 75-95 pesos, and 100-150 for smoothies or shakes. I think the prices are fair for the ambiance and food itself. It leaves you wanting more.
In need of a cheer-up after a heavy day's work? A sweet place that will make you forget all your worries? Vanilla Cupcake Bakery is the place to go to.
Taste - 4/5 | Ambiance - 5/5 | Service - 4.5/5 | Variety - 3.5/5 | Price - 3.8/5 |
Go back for more? - YES!

I may not have the softest touch
I may not say the words as such
And though I may not look like much
I'm yours.

happy almost your day.
